SA’s favourite lifestyle music event series, announces star-studded line-up for the tour’s first 4 events
The line-up of artists for the Corona Sunsets Summer Tour have been announced with Goldfish, Bongeziwe Mabandla, Goodluck, Culoe De Song, Naakmusiq and FKA Mash headlining the first four events to take place in Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Polokwane.
With a total of 15 events, the Corona Sunsets Summer Tour travels across South Africa, stopping at some of the country’s most breathtaking sunset locations. The tour kicks off at Johannesburg’s Huddle Park Oasis on October 29th, with headline artists, Goldfish and Bongeziwe Mabandla.
Renowned electronic duo, Goldfish recently dropped their highly anticipated, sixth studio album, “If Summer Was A Sound”, while the exceptional, ever evolving Bongeziwe Mabandla also recently released “amaXesha”, which sees him use Xhosa lyrics with electronic ambience and hook-laden synth melodies.
Headlining the Corona Sunsets Summer Tour event at the ABE Rooftop in Pretoria on November 4 is ground-breaking electronic dance artist, FKA Mash, DJ Buhle, and Culoe De Song, renowned for his Afrocentric rhythms and subtle digital textures.
Culoe de Song, house duo Lemon & Herb and electronic dance band, Goodluck, headline the third Corona Sunsets Tour event at Toadbury Hall outside Johannesburg on November 5th while Naakmusiq and exciting Amapiano duo, Mellow & Sleazy, top the Corona Sunsets Summer Tour bill at Noko Restaurant, Polokwane, on November 11.
Event goers can expect to unwind and relax by engaging with drumming workshops, body art, and face paint, charm bracelet making and special sunset hour activations. Important sustainability elements, meanwhile, include solar powered phone chargers and recycle stations with dedicated staff to educate & assist eventgoers with properly disposing of waste.
